Earth Day 2025 Grantees
Six organizations doing critical work for the planet — from tropical rainforest protection to defending environmental projects right here in the United States.
Working directly with school children in Virginia and West Virginia to plant trees and tend native-species nurseries.
Partnering with local and Indigenous organizations to permanently protect tropical forests and the species they hold.
Direct support to Indigenous communities preserving rainforests in the Amazon, Congo Basin, and Papua New Guinea.
Mangrove planting and restoration in the Tana Delta in Kenya, and reforestation work across developing countries.
Working with young people around the world to create and steward protected areas in biodiversity hotspots.
One of the nation's most effective defenders of the environment — standing up for the just implementation of climate commitments. Our grant will be matched by another SELC donor.
